【摘要】:Thisspecificationestablishesminimumcharacteristicsforthosefactorsthatdetermineparticlesize,consistency,purity,andabilitytodrain.EngineeredwoodfiberthatmeetstherequirementsofthisspecificationmustcomplywithSpecificationF1292,ifthesurfaceisintheusezoneasdefinedinSpecificationF1487.Asampleofwoodfiberthatmeetstherequirementsofthisspecificationmaybedesignatedengineeredwoodfiberandbesuitableforplaygroundsafetysurfacing.Thisspecificationdoesnotimplythataninjurycannotbeincurrediftheengineeredwoodfibercomplieswiththisspecification.Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainstothetestmethodportionsonly,inSection7.4,8.4and9.4ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TomeettherequirementsoftheStandardforEngineeredWoodFiberUsedUnderandAroundPlaygroundEquipment,thematerialshallperformasfollows:Thematerialshallmeetparticlesizerequirements.Thematerialshallmeettherequirementformetalparticles.Thematerialshallmeettheallowableheavymetalconcentrationsconsideredhazardoustochildren.ThematerialshallmeettherequirementsofSpecificationF1292.
