【摘要】:Dataonthecompositionandcharacteristicsofenvironmentalatmospheres,suchasambientorworkspaceair,arefrequentlyusedtoevaluatethehealthandsafetyofhumans.Dataonthecompositionofatmosphericdepositionsamplesareoftenusedforenvironmentalimpactassessment.Thesedataarefrequentlyusedtoascertaincompliancewithregulatorystatutesthatplacelimitsonacceptablecompositionsandcharacteristicsoftheseatmospheres.Laboratoriesthatproduceenvironmentalsamplingandanalysisdataandthosewhohavetheresponsibilityofselectingalaboratorytoperformairqualitystudiesneedtoknowwhatcriteria,practices,andrecommendationshavebeenacceptedbyconsensuswithinthisfieldofendeavor.Demonstrationanddocumentationbyalaboratorythatthereisjudiciousselectionandcontroloforganizationalfactors,facilities,resources,andoperationsenhancethereliabilityofthedataproducedandpromotetheacceptanceofthesedata.1.1Thisguidecoverscriteriatobeusedbythoseresponsiblefortheselection,evaluation,operation,andcontroloflaboratoryorganizationsengagedinsamplingandanalysisofenvironmentalatmospheres,includingambient,workspace,andsourceemissions,aswellasatmosphericdepositionsamples.Fordetailsspecifictostackgases,seePracticeD7036,whichcoversadministrativeissuesinfull;severalspecificsinthisguideregardinglaboratoryoperationsmayyetbehelpfulanddonotoverlapwithPracticeD7036.1.2Thisguidepresentsfeaturesoforganizations,facilities,resources,andoperationswhichbytheirselectionandcontrolaffectthereliabilityandcredibilityofthedatagenerated.1.3Thisguidepresentsthecriteriafortheselectionandcontrolofthefeatureslistedinsothatacceptableperformancemaybeattainedandsustained.Also,thisguidepresentsrecommendationsforthecorrectionofunacceptableperformance.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
